We spent years building CRM. Then we decided to start again.
Archesell is building a new CRM for a world where people and digital workers work together.
Start again
For more than a decade, our team built enterprise CRM software and worked closely with revenue organizations trying to make customer relationships, sales processes and management more effective.
We saw how much CRM changed the way companies operate — and where the model continued to depend on people doing the work around the software.
AI gave us the opportunity to ask the question again from the beginning.
What we learned building CRM
CRM was built for a different era.
CRM digitized customer records. Cloud software made those records accessible everywhere. Sales tools helped teams manage more of the workflow around them.
But the underlying operating model remained largely the same:
- People do the work
- People record the work
- Software stores and reports the work
Salespeople research accounts, prepare for meetings, follow up with buyers and keep the system current.
Managers reconstruct what is happening from records, reports and conversations.
As a revenue organization grows, headcount, software and operating complexity tend to grow with it.
The limitation wasn’t that CRM failed. It was that CRM was designed around people operating software.
AI changed the question
AI changes what software can do.
For the first time, software can increasingly understand customer interactions, interpret signals, maintain context, reason about what matters and participate in carrying work forward.
We spent more than two years exploring how these capabilities could be brought into traditional CRM.
We came to a simple conclusion:
Adding AI features to software designed for human operation is not the same as designing a system from the beginning for humans and AI to work together.
Start from first principles
Start from the outcome, not the tool.
When we started again, we asked a first-principles question:
What is the ultimate outcome revenue software should help create?
The answer is not:
- More records
- More workflows
- More dashboards
- More software usage
- More seats
The tool was never the outcome.
The outcome was always revenue growth.
If revenue growth is the outcome, the design process should work backward from it.
People + Digital Workers
The next GTM team isn’t just people.
We believe the next generation of revenue organizations will combine the strengths of people with a growing Digital Workforce.
The goal isn’t to remove people from selling.
It is to let people spend more of their time on the work where human judgment and relationships matter most, while digital workers increasingly carry the research, preparation, monitoring, context and execution work around them.
Over time, this creates the possibility for revenue capacity to grow without headcount, software count and operating complexity increasing at the same rate.

Why Archesell
Archesell starts with archē.
Arche comes from the Greek archē — origin, beginning, first principle.
Archesell — ARK-eh-sell
We started Archesell by asking a first-principles question:
If we designed a revenue platform today, for a world of people and digital workers, what would it look like?
We’re building Archesell from that starting point — not as another layer of AI on sales software, but as a revenue platform designed around how people and digital workers can work together from the beginning.
Team
We’ve lived this problem before.
Our founding team has spent the past 15 years building and operating enterprise CRM and revenue software, working with sales organizations at different stages of scale.
That experience shapes both what we believe should change — and what still matters: customer trust, enterprise reliability, clear human accountability and software that works in the reality of a sales team.
- Built and scaled enterprise CRM
- Worked with thousands of salespeople and revenue teams
- Repeated Gartner recognition in Sales Force Automation
- Enterprise software experience across leading global technology companies
